Services

  • Advise, develop, and review policies, programs, and procedures pertaining to NDOT’s internal and external communications, community relations, and public involvement processes.
  • Provide communication coordination and media relations for the agency.
  • Prepare and distribute information pertaining to NDOT issues and activities through news releases, publications, brochures, newsletters, the website, and social media, as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and review public involvement proceedings; communicate and collaborate on implementations of all applicable Federal aid program requirements.
  • Prepare and disseminate public notices, flyers, information releases, correspondence, etc., in various formats for NDOT public meetings, hearings, and special programs.
  • Provide specific writing, editing, and public relations assistance as needed for the Director, Governor, public officials, citizens, NDOT employees; and assisting with various NDOT-related events.
  • Plan and produce public awareness campaigns for safety, construction, maintenance, essential operations, and timely issues, as needed.
