Only NDOT employees are eligible for monetary awards
Employees are limited to $500 in employee recognition each calendar year.
Employees are limited to two employee recognitions each fiscal year.
The Innovation of the Year award is limited to $500 per person. Other awards will be under $500 per person.
Award levels are per person, with a maximum award amount equivalent to a four person team.
All applications will be reviewed and vetted by an internal committee for inclusion in the Innovation Challenge.
Any innovation that has already been implemented is eligible.
Any single innovation can only be nominated once.
Individual innovation information, descriptions, photos, & savings are provided by the innovators.
Innovators whose innovations win monetary prizes in the bracket competition cannot additionally be rewarded monetarily for the Director’s Office picks awards.
