Controller Teammate Recognition Ceremony

Controller Division hosted a delightful teammate recognition ceremony, seamlessly integrating Halloween festivities. The event included a lively costume contest and an all-day spooky food celebration, making it a truly enjoyable occasion to honor our dedicated team members who contribute significantly to the agency and perform such important work for NDOT.

Lily Kathee stated, "I sincerely value my teammates and appreciate their invaluable contributions to the Controller Division and to NDOT."

On Halloween Day the crew in Ainsworth participated in Trick or Treat street events in Ainsworth (James Hoover & Dillon Barta with the Snow Blower), Bassett (Todd Norton & Willy Pancake with the Plow Tracker Banner) and Springview (Mike Rowley & Robert Ellis with the current hiring banner). There is question as to how many tricks were played, but for sure lots of treats were given out!  A big thank you for these guys taking time out of their day to participate in these community events. Also, the District 8 team wants to thank the Department and leadership for allowing them to participate in these events as a lot of positive feedback is received from the communities.

Officials from the District 4 office visited Doniphan-Trumbull Public School to recognize the winner of 2024 Name-A-Snowplow contest. Sixth grader Berkely Hansen won the contest submitting the name of “Mr. Freeze.”  Snowplow driver was John “Sonny” Drohman and his supervisor James Delarm.  All the 6^th graders were able to sign the plow blade and ask questions.
